G-PAC & GIFFORDS PAC-ENDORSED CANDIDATES OVERWHELMINGLY WIN PRIMARY VICTORIES FOR ILLINOIS GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Backed by G-PAC & GIFFORDS PAC, Over a Dozen Gun Safety Incumbents & Candidates Claim Victory
CHICAGO – The Gun Violence Prevention PAC of Illinois (G-PAC), the state’s leading gun violence prevention advocacy organization, and GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun safety organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, today congratulated gun safety incumbents and candidates who won decisive victories in Tuesday’s primary election.
Nearly every candidate and incumbent supported by G-PAC and GIFFORDS PAC won their respective races, backed by the organizations’ joint endorsements and G-PAC’s mail and digital campaigns that helped propel the campaigns to victory. As part of those efforts, G-PAC’s digital ad campaigns for endorsed candidates reached over 1 million voters, delivered more than 8,300 engagements and 7,200 clicks, and mail in one race hit 16,000 doors.
