Our One Job #YesOnSB1657

Here lie 17 teens at the Capitol representing the 17 victims shot and killed in Parkland Florida. They lay there for 3 minutes. Why? Because that was how long it took the shooter to buy his gun.

No state and no community are immune to the horrors of gun violence. All of us who fight for common-sense gun laws in Illinois are inspired and awed by the courage of the children from south Florida, victims of gun violence themselves, who’ve challenged state and federal lawmakers to put the safety of children and families above all else. That is #OurOneJob as parents, as grandparents, and as citizens of this great nation.

Here in Illinois, we are working to keep our children safe from gun violence by stopping illegal gun trafficking in our state. Here’s how you can help:

  • Click here to EMAIL your legislator and ask for support of SB 1657, the Gun Dealer Licensing Act

  • Click here to DONATE today so we can keep working to apply pressure on lawmakers to pass this life saving legislation.

We ask that you join us and lend your voice and your support to this effort. Let’s show our brave children that they don’t have to take on this fight alone.

Thank you,

Kathleen Sances, Pres. and CEO, G-PAC
