SB 1657 Vote this Week. Your One Call-Our One Job

No school, no community and no city is immune to the horror of gun violence. Every day we fail to enact common-sense gun reforms in Illinois is another day children and families have to live in fear.

Illinois lawmakers are set to vote next week on legislation that would require gun dealers to follow simple and common-sense measures that would reduce the flow of illegal guns into our communities. This is a simple, but meaningful step that will help keep guns out of the hands of criminals and those who endanger families throughout Illinois. We are so close to making this a reality, and we cannot afford to slow our momentum. Our children have a right to grow up in communities free from gun violence. Join us in getting #OurOneJob done in Illinois!
